FREE CLINIC HEAD OFFICER IN STATE GROUP

Rebecca Noftsinger, executive director of The Free Clinic of the New River Valley, has been elected vice president of the newly formed Association of Free Clinics. The association represents 20 free clinics in Virginia. It will meet twice yearly to discuss ways to streamline services to clients.

Noftsinger was elected during the board's first meeting in Richmond. She'll serve a one-year term.

The Free Clinic of the New River Valley provided medical or dental services for more than 1,300 patient visits last year.
