HORROR WRITERS TO SPEAK AT TECH

Horror story writers Craig Spector and David Schow will be the guests at Tuesday's Virginia Tech Union Speakers and Issues Program. The program will begin at 7 p.m. in Colonial Hall at the Squires Student Center on campus. The program is titled "A Matter of Splatter," and admission is free.

Spector will talk about his bestselling horror novels and work in film and screenplays, particularly his original writing of the screenplay, "A Nightmare on Elm Street, part 5." Schow will discuss his horror stories via the art of the short story, and his work revising well-known horror stories like "Freddy's Nightmares" and "Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III."
