OBIT-KING, DAVID ALLEN
KING, David Allen, 44, of Route 1, Bland, died Thursday, October 21, 1993,
at his residence. He was a native of Belle, W.Va. and was a U.S. Navy Veteran
of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marl Lee and
Bernice Elizabeth Kyer King of Belle, W.Va. He is survived by his wife,
Josephine Stowers King, Bland; one son, David Joe King, White Bear Lake,
Minn.; one daughter, Martha Lynn King, Belle W.Va.; brother and sister-in-law,
Gary W. and Barbara King, Gassoway, W.Va.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie
and the Rev. David White, Oak Hill, W.Va., Rebecca and Elliott Tuck, Jupiter,
Fla. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 24, 1993, at 2 p.m. in the
chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Joe Mack Taylor and the
Rev. Tom Kirk with the interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Bland.
The family will receive friends at the Grubb Funeral Home Saturday from 7 to 9
p.m. The family may be contacted at the home of James Pauley of Bland. The
American Legion Post #20 will conduct graveside rites. The Grubb Funeral Home
is in charge of the arrangements.
