OBIT-WADDLE, CLAUDINE FARMER

WADDLE, Claudine Farmer, 77, of Bland, died Thursday, October 21, 1993, at her residence. She was retired from Tultex Corp. and was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Lawrence Waddle, and a son, Michael J. Waddle. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James L. and Nancy Waddle, Dublin, Ray L. and Wanda Waddle, Galax; two sisters, Lorena F. Kidd, Bluefield, and Mary Ellen McGrady, Bland; two brothers, Andrew Farmer, Bland and Howe Farmer, Dublin. Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2 p.m. at the Newberry Funeral Chapel in Bland. Interment will follow in the family cemetery. Friends may call at the Newberry Funeral Home Friday from 6 until 9 p.m. Newberry Funeral Home in Bland is in charge of the arrangements.
