OBIT ORNDOFF, EDITH LEWIS

ORNDOFF, Edith Lewis, 91, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, October 21, 1993. She was a member of Huntington Court United Methodist Church and was the widow of the Rev. A. Irvin Orndoff, former pastor of Huntington Court United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Virginia Crutchfield Sherertz and husband, Robert F., Roanoke, Mrs. Dorothea L. Thompson and husband, Robert L., Buckeye Lake, Ohio; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside, Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 11 a.m. Monday, October 25, with the Rev. Alton M. Washington officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Huntington Court United Methodist Church or the Roanoke County No. 5 Rescue Squad. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
