OBIT CANDLER, GRADY

CANDLER, Grady, 84, of Hansonville, died Friday, October 22, 1993 at his home. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rachel Gray Candler, Hansonville, Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Madge Greer and Mrs. Clarice Estes, both of Abingdon, Va., Mrs. Lois Hill, Emory, Va., Mrs. Martha Gilliam, Wise, Va., and Mrs. Mary Witesell, Purcellville, Va.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, at the Russell County Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Robert Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Gray Family Cemetery. Neighbors will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at the Russell County Funeral Home in Lebanon, Va. The family requests no flowers. Arrangements by Russell County Funeral Home.
