DOUGLAS-DASSE

Joanna Marie Dasse and Drew Arthur Douglas were married on October 23, 1993, in Christ Episcopal Church, Roanoke, Virginia. The Reverend Deborah Hentz Hunley performed the ceremony. The reception was held at the Radisson Patrick Henry Hotel.

Virginia Dasse, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Cristina Portius, of Bermuda, sister of the groom, Blair Purser and April Hanks, of Roanoke, friends of the bride. Paul Lindo, Jr., of Bermuda, friend of the groom, was the best man. The ushers were Lyle Douglas, of Bermuda, the groom's brother, and friends of the groom, Colson Hillier, of Richmond, and Paul Johnson, of Bermuda.

Jennifer Grieveson, of Richmond, was the program attendant. Lay readers were Lars Teschauer, of Old Tappan, New Jersey, and Melissa Hays-Smith, of Roanoke. The music was performed by H. Thomas Baugh, III, Music Director of Christ Episcopal Church.

Joanna is the daughter of Helen H. Dasse, of Roanoke, and Jerome T. Dasse, of Nashua, New Hampshire. Drew is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luis A. Douglas, of Paget, Bermuda. The bride and groom graduated from the University of Richmond with degrees in Business Administration. Joanna was employed as an Assistant Buyer with S.H. Heironimus Co., Inc. Drew is a Divisional Controller with The Bank of Bermuda in Hamilton, Bermuda.

The newlyweds will honeymoon on a western Caribbean cruise. A reception in their honor will be hosted by the groom's parents in Bermuda. The couple will reside in Pembroke, Bermuda.
