The matron of honor was Mary Jane Orange, sister of the bride. Walter Bandy served as his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Philip Bandy and Lake Bandy, brothers of the groom. The Unity Candles were lit by Rebecca Blankenship, niece of the bride, and Todd Bandy, nephew of the groom. Wedding music was presented by Mary Gould, pianist and soloist. Guestbook was attended by Brenda Bandy.
Escorted by her brother, R. Barry Crawford, the bride wore a candlelight bridal satin gown which featured a scalloped neckline and fitted bodice embellished with pearls and iridescents on alencon lace appliques. The fitted basque waist flowed into a full skirt which extended to a cathedral train accented with beaded medallion cut outs.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Edward Crawford, of Catawba, and the late Mr. Crawford. She is a graduate of Roanoke College and is a Registered Nurse.
The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bandy, of Salem. He is a graduate of Va. Western Community College. He is employed by Norfolk Southern.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple will live in Roanoke County.
