The bride is the daughter of Clarence Moore of Blacksburg, Va. She attended Blacksburg High School and is employed at ComputerLand Corporation in Roanoke, Va.
The groom is the son of Richard and Juanita Hughes of Salem, Va. He attended Northside High School in Salem and DeVry Technical College in Atlanta, Ga. He is employed at Old Dominion Security Systems in Christiansburg, Va.
The maid of honor was Angelia Moore, sister of the bride, and two bridesmaids, Kimberly Gallo and Cynthia Long, friends of the bride. The best man was Richard Hughes, Jr., brother of the groom, and two ushers, Richard Hughes and John Rice, father and friend of the groom. The flower girl was Brittnie Hughes, and Vincent Gallo served as the ring bearer. Programs were given out by Lisa Moore Dowdy, and the guestbook attendant was Jamie Hughes. The bride's wedding dress and bridesmaids' dresses were selected from Formal Occasions, and flowers and tuxedos were provided by Pretty Petals. Barry Brooks helped capture the memories, and Patricia Bruce helped in directing the occasion.
A festive reception followed the wedding ceremony at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church in Roanoke, Va. Entertainment by local pop band "Cheaper Than Therapy" made dancing fun for both young and old, and refreshments were delightfully prepared by Mary Bommarito who catered the event.
The couple spent their wedding night at a Bed and Breakfast near Smith Mountain Lake and enjoyed a southern honeymoon in Georgia.
The couple will reside in their home in Southwest Roanoke.
