OBIT PRUETT, NELL CARR
PRUETT, Nell Carr ,91 of Rt 4, Vinton, passed away Monday evening at her
residence. She is survived by her husband, Frank R. Pruett; two daughters,
Hazel P. Wright, Vinton and Betty P. Corley, Richmond; one son, Lyde S.
Pruett, Fredericksburg; one sister, Ruby C. Leslie, Vinton; one sister-in-law,
Lenora M. Carr of Vinton; five grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren
and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m.
Thursday, October 28, 1993 at the Beaverdam Baptist Church in Chamblissburg,
with the Rev. Dennis E. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Lawn
Memorial Park. For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial donations
be made to the Chamblissburg Rescue Squad or Beaverdam Baptist Church building
fund. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Wednesday, and the family will receive
friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
