OBIT QUESENBERRY, WILLIAM EUGENE

QUESENBERRY, William Eugene, of Pulaski, died early Tuesday morning, October 26,1993, at Mrs. C. R. Sand's Nursing Home, Wytheville, Va. Born November 12, 1907, in Pulaski, Va., he was the son of the late George Amber and Bessie Sheppard Quesenberry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Coalson Quesenberry, a son, Harvey Comer Quesenberry, one sister and four brothers. Surviving are one daughter, Charlotte Riggs, Pulaski; two daughters and sons-in-law, Violet and E. D. Newman, Pulaski, Lena and Douglas Doyle, Sanford, Fla.; one granddaughter, Elaine Newman, Pulaski; one grandson, Wayne Doyle, Florida; two great-granddaughters, Kristen and Katie Doyle, Florida; four sisters, Margaret Clark and Beulah Palmer, both of Baltimore, Md., Janie Hall and Pauline Hudson, both of Pulaski; three brothers, Hensel Quesenberry, Bent Mountain, Harry D. Quesenberry and Herman J. Quesenberry, both of Pulaski. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, with the Dr. John Tresch, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Va. Visiting will be Wednesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. The family will also be receiving friends, at any time, at the residence of the daughter and son-in-law, Violet and E.
