After that, the Pulaski County High School Players will take the show on the road.
Its first stop will be at the New River Valley Mall in Christiansburg, where it will be performed from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The stage presentation will be at 6:20 p.m., and the Players will ``street mime'' around the mall during the rest of their visit.
The main presentation runs about 50 minutes, including choreographed and improvisational mime - acting without words.
``We will be asking the audience to help with the improvisational mime,'' said Kat Norris, one of the PCHS Players. ``The audience will get to tell the mimes what characters [to portray] and how to end situational pieces.''
Pulaski County High School went to block scheduling this year, offering longer class periods. ``With 90 minutes to rehearse each day, the mimes are stronger than ever,'' Norris said. ``Now that the mimes are prepared, they are available for community performances.''

One reason for doing so, in the words that the PCHS Players put on their posters advertising their production, is ``because a mime is a terrible thing to waste.''
