The four-member department will receive the Governor's Award for Anti-Drug Efforts on Thursday in Richmond. Gov.
Douglas Wilder will present the awards to Radford and 22 other agencies during a luncheon ceremony.
Lt. Jackie Roop, Detective Todd Jones, Detective Wayne Frye and Sgt. Gary Harmon - who recently left the detective division for uniform patrol - will attend the ceremony.
The detectives were nominated by Commonwealth's Attorney Randal Duncan.
