IMMUNIZATIONS SET IN BEDFORD COUNTY

Two free immunization clinics for county children will be conducted within the coming months.

The first clinic is scheduled for Nov. 13 at Stewartsville Elementary School from 9 a.m. to noon. The second clinic will be held Jan. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Health Department in Bedford.

The target population for the free clinics is children up to 2 years old, but older children will be accepted.

In addition, screening for development delays will be offered as part of the schools' "Child Find" efforts; as well as a combination measles, mumps and rubella booster shot for fifth- and sixth-graders.
