OBIT-IRBY, EDITH PROCTOR

IRBY, Edith Proctor, 64, of Vinton, died Tuesday, October 26, 1993, at her home. She was a graduate of William Byrd High School and was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents, John H. and Jessie B. Proctor and a sister, Martha Proctor Butterworth. Surviving are her husband, Clarence F. Irby; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Steven and Brenda Turner Irby of Mableton, Ga., Charles Kevin and Jean Geiser Irby of Vinton; three grandchildren, Charles Brian and Michael Kevin Irby, Charles Kevin Irby; two stepgrandchildren, Michael and Jennifer Geiser; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Jack and Julie Proctor of Richmond, Kenneth and Betty Proctor of Vinton, J. W. and Nancy Proctor of Hardy; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and J. L. Viar of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Mineral Springs Baptist Church 2 p.m. Friday, October 29, 1993, with the Rev. Dr. Archie Corbin and the Rev. Bobby Harris officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
