OBIT-WILLIS, EVELYN PARSONS

WILLIS, Evelyn Parsons, 72, of Edinberg Square, Roanoke, passed Wednesday, October 27, l993. She was a member of the Troutville Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress. She was predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Viola Parsons; her husband, Charles Willis; three brothers, Arthur C. Parsons, Marvin C. Parsons and Earl G. Parsons. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Gail A. Willis, Vinton, Debra J. Long and husband Jimmie A. Long, Boise, Idaho; one granddaughter, Ericca Long, Boise, Idaho; three sisters, Ruby Parsons Hall, Fredericksburg, Va., Rachel Parsons Bishop, Moneta., Gladys Parsons Elliott, Roanoke; a number of nieces and nephews and three special friends, Mrs. Elmer Bass, Mrs. Estelle Robertson, Mrs. Glennora Galloway. Funeral services will be at the graveside, Sherwood Memorial Park, 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 20, l993. with the Rev. Larry Sprouse officiating. She was greatly loved and will be missed by many friends. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel with family receiving friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday.
