OBIT-BRATTON, DAVID DOUGLAS
BRATTON, David Douglas, 39 of Ripplemead, died Tuesday, October 26, 1993,
at his home. Born in Pulaski, VA, he was a son of Deloris Burton Smith of
Radford and the late David Daniel Bratton, and stepson of Clive Smith of
Radford. He was an employee of the Hoechst-Celanese Plant near Narrows, VA. He
is survived by his wife Donna Blankenship Bratton; one son, Douglas Keith
Bratton of Ripplemead; one brother, Donald Lee Bratton of Pulaski; two
sisters, Betty Whited and Audrey Miller of Dublin; beloved friend, Alex
DiRico, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted
Friday, 11 a.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, Pembroke, VA. with the
Rev. Shahn Wilburn officiating. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park,
Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9
p.m. Thursday.
