NAVY PETTY OFFICER 3RD CLASS MARK E. RYAN, son of Patrick J. and Rhonda G. Ryan of Eagle Rock, recently reported for duty aboard the USS Independence, which is going to Yokusha, Japan. He is a 1992 graduate of James River High School.

\ NAVY SEAMAN APPRENTICE ANDREW R. BARLOW, son of Lewis W. and Arlean J. Barlow of Fincastle, recently graduated from the Naval Academy Preparatory School. He is a 1992 graduate of James River High School.
