DRAG RACER PRUDHOMME WILL RETIRE

Drag racing star Don "The Snake" Prudhomme said he will retire from driving after the 1994 season.

Prudhomme won NHRA Funny Car championships for four consecutive years (1975-78) and has 46 overall titles in NHRA racing, second on the all-time list. He had a record 35 victories in a Funny Car.
