OBIT BRADLEY, RUTH CANDLER

BRADLEY, Ruth Candler, 91, of Rich Creek, died Thursday, October 28, 1993 at a Pearisburg, Va. hospital. Born August 8, 1902 at Peterstown, she was the daughter of the late Mortimer B. and Reldia Smith Candler. Mrs. Bradley was a homemaker and a member of the Rich Creek United Methodist Church, Rich Creek, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin O. Bradley, four sisters, Beatrice Starling, Mattie Bradley, Gladys Brown, and Alice Wilson. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Mullins of Rich Creek, Va.; one son, Mr. James T. "Nook" Bradley of Pearisburg, Va.; one sister, Margie Harrah of Clifton Forge, Va.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 1993, at the Broyles Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, W. Va.,with Rev. Jeff Callahan officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rich Creek, Va. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday at the Broyles Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
