Jennifer Lynn Kelley and Raymond Avery Barker are engaged and planning a spring wedding. She is the daughter of Mrs. Cherie M. Dicks, of Salem, Virginia, and Mr. Jack O. Kelley, of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph V. Schultz, of Newport News, Virginia, and the late Kenton G. Barker, Sr., of Newport News, Virginia.

Jennifer is a graduate of William Fleming High School, Roanoke, Virginia, and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University. She is employed by Roanoke Gas Company. Raymond is a graduate of Ferguson High School, Newport News, Virginia, and received a Bachelor of Science degree of Radford University. He is employed by Color Tile Inc. The spring wedding to be held in Roanoke is planned for April 23, 1994.
