WILBOURNE-WHITTAKER

Stacey Whittaker and Kent Wilbourne were married September 25, 1993, in Northview United Methodist Church. The officiating clergyman was Willis L. Betts. The reception was held at the Radisson-Patrick Henry Hotel. The matron of honor was Amanda Wilbourne, sister-in-law of the groom. Bridesmaids were Erin Whittaker, sister of the bride, and Marlene Kelly, friend of the bride. The best man was Keith Wilbourne, brother of the groom. Ushers were Glenn Craig and Gerald Clyburn, friends of the groom. The candlelighters were Glenn Craig and Gerald Clyburn. The guestbook was attended by Matt and Sally O'Bryan. The bride's gown of taffeta was embellished with pearls and beaded sequins. She carried a bouquet of star-gazer lilies, red roses, and carnations. The bride is a daughter of William and Janice Whittaker, of Charles Town, W.Va. She graduated from Northside High School and is employed by Cato Corp. The bridegroom is a son of Raymond and Finese Wilbourne, of Roanoke, Va. He graduated from Northside High and Radford University. He is employed by Advance Auto Parts. After the wedding trip to Nags Head, N.C., the newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
