OBIT LLOYD, JAMES HUBARD JR.

LLOYD, James Hubard Jr. 75, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, October 30, 1993, at Heritage Hall Health Care Center. Mr. Lloyd was born in Norfolk on November 11, 1917 to the late James Hubard and Louisa Barton Lloyd. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are four brothers, Clergy R. Baldwin Lloyd, Blacksburg, Clergy Barton Myers Lloyd, Needham, Mass., Clergy John Janney Lloyd, Yonkers, N.Y., Clergy Authur Selden Lloyd, Madison, Wis.; two sisters, Louisa Barton Lloyd, Fairfax, Clergy Kate Baldwin Mead, Wilmington, Del.; also surviving are 16 nieces and nephews; and a number of great-nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 3, at the Westover Church, in Charles City County with the Father Thomas William Bauer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The remains will be present Tuesday after 5 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home.
