OBIT PERDUE, HENRY LEE
PERDUE, Henry Lee, 67, of Rt. 6, Rocky Mount, died Sunday, October 31,
1993. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Surviving are
his wife, Helen Gertrude Perdue; four daughters, Dorenda Kaye Perdue, Mirian
Jean Perdue, Teresa Lynnette Perdue, all of Roanoke, and Sandra Perdue McCoy,
of Botetourt County; one son, Mark Lucian Perdue of Rocky Mount; a son-in-law,
Hunter Gordon McCoy of Botetourt County; two granddaughters, Amanda Nicole
McCoy and Meredith Brynn McCoy; one sister, Clara Perdue Jefferson of Rocky
Mount; three brothers, Floyd Allen Perdue, James Ford Perdue and Harold Dean
Perdue, all of Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday,
from Lynch Chapel with Rev. A. Dave Snead officiating. Interment will follow
in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 5 p.m.
Monday, where the family will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the
family suggests that memorials be made to the Franklin County Rescue Squad.
