OBIT BROWN, NANNIE ELLEDGE
BROWN, Nannie Elledge, 87, of Marion, died Saturday, October 30, 1993, in
Smyth County Community Hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Evelyn E.
Cox of Marion; one son, Ernest ("Ernie") Elledge of Marion; two sisters,
Frances Rosenbaum of Marion and Louvenia Sizemore of Bufford, Ga.; one
brother, Roy A. Pennington of Marion; five grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 2 at 11
a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Mark Totten officiating. Burial will
follow in Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the
American Cancer Society c/o Joyce Blevins, PO Box 550, Marion, VA 24354, or
the South Fork Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Fran Hayes, Route 1, Box 153,
Sugar Grove, VA 24375. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7
until 9 at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service is in charge of
the arrangements.
