OBIT GRAY, ALTON JEFFERSON
GRAY, Alton Jefferson, 67, of Collinsville, passed away Saturday, October
30, 1993 in a Martinsville hospital. He was retired from Roy Stone and R. P.
Thomas Trucking Co. He also served in the U. S. Army during WWII. Survivors
include his wife, Myrle Lawhorn Gray; one son and daughter-in-law, John L. and
Pat Gray, of Bedford; two sisters, Vicie G. Gray and Ellen G. Atkinson, both
of Rt. 1, Vinton; two grandchildren, Tabatha G. and husband, Raymond Atkinson,
and Michael Wayne Gray, both of Bedford. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m.
Tuesday, November 2, 1993 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel, with the Rev. Lawrence
Harris and the Rev. Roy McVey officiating. Burial to follow in Glade Creek
Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Va. Friends may call at the Lotz Vinton Chapel after
12 noon Monday.
