Glenda Mae Martin, 25, was traveling with her husband, Howard Randolph Martin, on Virginia 653 when he lost control of the car as they rounded a curve. The car swerved to the left side of the road and hit a tree, state police said.
Glenda Martin, who died at the scene, did not have her seat belt on when police arrived at the accident. Howard Martin was wearing his seatbelt and suffered no serious injuries, police said.
