OBIT WYATT, WILLIAM WARD

WYATT, William Ward, 80, of 3118 Courtland Rd., N.W., Roanoke, passed away Sunday, October 31, 1993. He was a member of The Methodist Church, was a retired prison guard, and an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Sadie L. Wyatt; one son and daughter-in-law, Douglas E. Wyatt and wife, Joyce, all of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Rebecca Hartman, Roanoke, Jeannie Epperly, Salem, Elizabeth Rohani, Rene Sluder, both of West Palm Beach, Fla.; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Lumsdon, Roanoke, Etta Hale, Pensicola, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside, Old Dominion Memorial Gardens, 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 1993, with the Rev. Ira Tolliver officiating. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
