Because incorrect information was provided to the newspaper, one contributor to Mary Sue Terry's campaign for governor was misidentified in Saturday's paper.

J.D. Nicewonder of Clintwood contributed $10,000 to George Allen's campaign. His brother, Don Nicewonder, contributed $10,000 to Mary Sue Terry's campaign.

Because of a reporter's error, a story in Tuesday's editions incorrectly listed Blacksburg as the 1992 Group A champion in girls' basketball. The Indians won the 1992 Group AA championship.
