HOLIDAY TIME MEANS MORE BLOOD NEEDED

The American Red Cross has continued its appeal for blood donors because regional inventories are still more than 300 pints below levels needed for the upcoming holiday season, according to Bob Lutjen, spokesman for the Appalachian Regional Blood Services.
