ROANOKE AGENCY WINS CONTRACT TO PROMOTE CONFERENCE CENTER

Lin Chaff Public Relations & Advertising of Roanoke said Tuesday it has been awarded the contract by the Roanoke Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau for national promotion of a conference center planned adjacent to the renovated Hotel Roanoke.

The hotel and conference center are projected to open in early 1995.

Materials produced by the Chaff agency will be used to promote the facility to convention groups prior to the opening. The promotional campaign is to be unveiled in December. - Staff report
