OBIT FRACTION, RUTH ELIZABETH BAKER
FRACTION, Ruth Elizabeth Baker, 64, of Roanoke, died Sunday, October 31,
1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, David K. Fraction, Sr. She was
an active member of Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she served as clerk
for many years. Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia F. (Willie G.)
Thompson of Richmond, Arnetta Fraction of Roanoke, Daisy Fraction of Richmond;
one son, David K. Fraction Jr. of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Ciarra and
Melanie Thomspon and Brandon Fraction, all of Richmond; one sister, Mildred E.
Baker of Roanoke; one niece, Linda Johnson; one great-niece, Yvette Taylor;
three great-nephews, Ronald and Chad Johnson and Jesse Taylor Jr., all of
Roanoke; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday,
2 p.m., at the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. Antonio Thomas
officiating. Interment will be in Williams Memorial Park. The family will
receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by
Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
