RIVER AWARENESS FUND-RAISER PLANNED

The National Committee for the New River and Chi Phi fraternity will hold an awareness program and fund-raiser Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., at the Save-X service station at Tyler and Norwood.

The program is designed to make people more aware of environmental concerns and on the impact of the New River on residents of the New River Valley.
