MISSING MAN FOUND DEAD NEAR WRECK SITE

The body of a man who had been reported missing was found Thursday in a Loudoun County field about two miles from his wrecked car, authorities said.

Sgt. Darryl DeBow of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office would not say whether foul play was suspected in the death of Howard Bishop Jr., 65. He said an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

Bishop's car was found in Fauquier County on Wednesday, the day after relatives reported him missing. DeBow said it appears Bishop was walking home when he died.
