CRAWFORD, David Lee, 50, of Troutville, died Wednesday, November 3, l993.
He was an employee of the Norfolk Southern Railroad, East End Diesel shop an a
Vietnam Veteran. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Brickey
Crawford. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Harris Crawford, Troutville; his
father, Clarence Earl Crawford, Troutville; a special daughter, Mary Kay
Turner, Salem; four brothers, Carl L. Crawford, Melvin D. Crawford, both of
Salem, Kyle B. Crawford, Vinton, Randall L. Crawford, Troutville; five
sisters, Evelyn Rife, Roanoke, Phyllis Reed, Salem, Darlene Wood, Roanoke,
Wanda Anderson, Troutville, Patricia Reynolds, Vinton, and numerous nieces and
nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 5, l993, 2 p.m. at the
Rader Troutville Chapel, with Dr. Carl A. Collins Jr. officiating. Interment
will follow in the Pleasant Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the Fincastle Rescue Squad.
