AUBURN GIRLS FALL

Christy Whitt hit three 3-point goals and finished with 23 points as Rocky Gap broke a tie in the fourth quarter and went on to a 62-50 victory over Auburn on Thursday night in Mountain Empire District girls' basketball.

Nancy Tupper added 20 points for Rocky Gap (11-10 overall, 10-8 Mountain Empire).

Angie Simpkins paced Auburn (13-7, 12-6) with 19 points. \
