AGEE, Lewis Melvin, 80, of Callaway, died Friday, November 5, 1993, at his
home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Taswell and Ella Agee and a
brother, William Agee. Surviving are his wife, Minnie Guilliams Agee; three
daughters, Betty A. Shields, Charlotte A. Davis and Shirley A. Dillon, all of
Callaway; two sons and daughters-in-law, Wilton W. and Faye H. Agee of
Callaway, Richard D. and Anne B. Agee of Glade Hill; 13 grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; one sister, Jewel A. Janney of Floyd; one sister-in-law,
Goldie G. Agee of Callaway and a special friend, Becky Guilliams of Callaway.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, from Lynch Chapel, with
Elder W. Lane Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Pigg River
Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home
after 2 p.m. Saturday, where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of
flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Callaway Rescue
Squad.
