BLACKBURN-FUNKHOUSER

Cynthia Fay Funkhouser and Jeffrey Scott Blackburn were married September 25, 1993, in St. John's United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Hawkins officiating. The reception was held at Moody Hall, VMI, Lexington. The matron of honor was Kathy Funkhouser,sister-in-law of the bride. The bridesmaids were Cindy Wheeler, Kim Close, Vicky Bisk, Jenny Perkerson, Julie Constantino, all friends of the bride.Flowergirl was Jessica Seaman, cousin of the bride. The best man was MarvinBlackburn, father of the groom. The ushers were Tony Blackburn, brother of the groom; Tommy Mundy and BrianFerguson, friends of the groom; Troy Funkhouser and Barry Funkhouser, brothers of the bride. Ringbearer was Jonathan Seaman, cousin of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Teresa Burks and Melissa Powers. The bride's gown was traditional silk shantung. The bride is the daughter of Johnny and BarbaraSnider of Lexington, and CarltonFunkhouser of Glasgow. The groom is the son of Marvin and Shirley Blackburn of Buchanan. He is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute, and is employed by Burlington Industries, Hurt, Va. The newlyweds are living in Lynchburg.
