HEDGE-HEWITT

Stephanie Lynn Hewitt and William Noblin Hedge, Jr., were united in marriage on August 28, 1993, at St. Mary's Chapel, Chatham Hall, Chatham, Va., by the Rev. George Butler of Abilene, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. William Hewitt, Jr., of Rock Hill, S. C. She is a graduate of Chatham Hall and attends The College of Charleston, S. C., while teaching at The O'Quinn School of James Island.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William N. Hedge and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Dunkley, all of Roanoke, Va. He is a graduate of Hargrave Military Academy and Hampden-Sydney College. He is employed by Emery Worldwide.

The maid of honor was Leanne Cruse of Chatham, Va. Bridesmaids were Sheri Hedge-Carroll, sister of the groom, Arnold, Md., and Catherine Ehret, Charleston, S. C. The groom's father served as best man. The groomsmen were Peyton W. Artz, Glen Allen, Va., Joseph K. Carroll, brother-in-law of the groom, Arnold, Md., John S. Hewitt and J. William Hewitt III, brothers of the bride, and DonniePowell, all of Rock Hill, S. C.

The reception was held at Chatham Square. The wedding and reception was directed by Vaunda Leftwich and the photography was by Robert Leftwich.

The couple will reside in Charleston,S. C.
