WILDER ANNOUNCES AREA APPOINTMENTS

Gov. Douglas Wilder appointed four people from Southwest Virginia to the following state boards and commissions Friday:

Dr. Karen L. Quinn of Salem and Dr. James W. Denton of Abingdon, to the Board of Medicine, both to fill unexpired terms. Quinn's term ends June 30, 1994; Denton's ends June 30, 1996.

Katherine L. McLeod of Roanoke and Sandra Carroll of Salem, to the Child Day-Care Council, both for terms expiring June 30, 1997.
