SHEETS, Lee Meredith, 82, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, November 6,
1993. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and was a retired employed of
Sav-a-Stop Corporation. He is survived by his wife, Leota L. Sheets; one
daughter, Emogene S. Rowe of Roanoke; one son, Harold R. Sheets and wife,
Ethel Frances Sheets of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Philip T. Rowe, Leslie R.
Owens, Lora E. Rowe, Donna S. Tyree and Dawn S. Tolley; four
great-grandchildren; one brother, Elmer R. Sheets of Bristol; four sisters,
Delta S. Lewis of Bristol, Winnie S. McClure of Suffolk, Edith S. Gentry of
Damascus and Margaret S. Booth of Glade Spring. Funeral services will be
conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 9. Burial
will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel,
where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday
and Monday.
