OBIT BROWN, MATTIE G.

BROWN, Mattie G., 82, of Roanoke, died at her residence, Saturday, November 6, 1993. She was the widow of Edgar C. ("Buck") Brown, and a member of Electa Chapter #33, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include sisters and brother-in-law, Cassie Brammer, Jessie and J. N. Mason of Roanoke, sister-in-law , Mrs. P. F. Goff of Washington state; also several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. Private graveside services 11:30 a.m. Monday at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. William Murdock officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
