MOTLEY, Raymond Gerard, 58, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, November 4,
1993. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Motley of Roanoke; one son and
daughter-in-law, Odalis and Rebecca Harris, Pembroke; six daughters and two
sons-in-law, Bernice Motley, Manhattan, N.Y., Gladys Motley, Roanoke, Loretta
and Anthony Cannaday, Roanoke, Cynthia and William Compton, Redding, Pa., Mary
and Tonia Motley, both of Roanoke; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
a devoted cousin, Jerome Motley; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday
at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Chapel, with Rev. David Keaton officiating. Burial in
Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, one hour
prior to the service.
