THOMAS, Roy Melvin, ("Skeets"), 67, of Roanoke, died Friday, November 5, 1993. Surviving are two sons, Roy Clyde Thomas and Robert Maxwell Thomas, both of Roanoke; one sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Ralph Blankenship, Roanoke; two brothers, George Thomas and Clarence B. Thomas, both of Roanoke; sister-in-law, Ruth Thomas, Roanoke; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, with Maj. Helen Padgett and Maj. Dan Delaney officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
