OBIT HATCHER, RAY K.
HATCHER, Ray K., 57, of Ferrum, died Saturday, November 6, 1993, in the
comfort of his home at Route 3. He was born in Floyd on April 21, 1936, son of
Hubert Hatcher and the late Lelia Boyd Hatcher. He was employed by MW
Manufacturers, Inc. as a truck driver. Surviving are his wife, Alease Allen
Hatcher; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Carol Ann Hatcher, Mark and
Barbara Hatcher and Marty and Tammie Hatcher; a granddaughter, Alisha Hatcher;
his father, Hubert Hatcher of Roanoke; a sister, Lois Wade of Dunkirk, Md.; a
brother and sister-in-law, H.G. and Marie Hatcher of Huntington, Md.; several
nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday from
Lynch Chapel with the Rev. Bud D. Nichols officiating. Interment will follow
in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 4 p.m.
Sunday where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
