SOME DEATH BENEFITS DISTRIBUTED EARLY

To help relieve the financial burden on the family of a terminally ill person, some life insurance companies are allowing terminally ill policyholders to collect part of their death benefits while still alive.

To help spread the word about this "accelerated benefit," the American Council of Life Insurance has published a free booklet called "What You Need to Know About Accelerated Benefits." To order, write to 1001 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20002-2599, or call (800) 942-4242.
