Frank Sinatra immortalized it. Even Elvis Presley and Sid Vicious did "My Way" their way.

It's been 25 years since Paul Anka handed Sinatra a demo disk that became Anka's best-known composition and Sinatra's signature song. BMI, an organization that licenses song rights, recently celebrated the 3 millionth performance of "My Way."

"`My Way" is the kind of song that attracts singers other than Sinatra who like a challenge to do it their way," Anka said.

British punk rocker Sid Vicious recorded a bizarre version of "My Way" prior to his death in 1979.

"I loved it," Anka said. "I was shocked when I first heard it because I never imagined the song like that."

As rumored, Barbra Streisand will indeed give two performances at Las Vegas' MGM Grand on New Year's Eve and Jan. 1. They'll be her first public concerts in more than 20 years, and the tickets are likely to cost $100 to $1,000.
