OBIT-WEBB, GEORGE LEO

WEBB, George Leo, 88, of Roanoke, passed away at his home Saturday, November 6, 1993. He was a member of the First Church of the Brethren and the former owner of George L. Webb Tile & Marble Contractors. He was preceded in death by a son, David L. Webb and a daughter, Patricia W. Shook. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Jones Webb; daughter, Mrs. Karen W. Conner, Salem; grandchildren, Stephanie and Scott Shook, Christopher Temple and David Conner; a number of nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Bernnie Mask, Goodview. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, with the Rev. Emma Jean Woodard officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
