OBIT-FERGUSON, ANNIE TRENT
FERGUSON, Annie Trent, 91, a lifelong resident of Roanoke, died Sunday,
November 7, 1993, in a local hospital. She was a member of Belmont Baptist
Church, and V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #484. She was preceded in death by a
daughter, Mary Ann Ferguson and a son, Paul Auburn Ferguson. Surviving are
three daughters and sons-in-law, Irene and Willard (Bill) Secrist, Lou and
Hampton W. Thomas; Myrtle Louise Reed, all of Roanoke; a daughter-in-law,
Evelyn B. Ferguson, Salem; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren;
four brothers, Lawrence Trent, Houston Trent, Claude Trent, all of Roanoke,
Walter Trent, Daleville; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Brown, and Mrs. Maggie Ball,
both of Roanoke. Services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The Rev. Wayne Clay Harrison will officiate. Interment will follow in Fair
View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
