MOORE, James William, 76, of Shawsville, died Monday, November 8, 1993, in
Lewis-Gale Hospital. He was a former employee of the Valleydale Meat Packers
and Montgomery County school systems, having worked at Shawsville High School.
Surviving are his wife, Juanita Moore; a daughter, Susan A, Moore and her
fiance, David Rapp, Shawsville; sons, James Robert Moore and his fiancee,
Jenny Fitzgerald, Salem, Allen Lane Moore and wife, Sandie, Elliston, Donald
Lynn Moore, Ironto, William Wayne Moore, Roanoke; stepdaughters, Debbie Sue
Whitaker and husband, Mike, Christiansburg, Sharon Lynn Richardson and her
fiance, Robert; stepsons, Curtis Wayne Kingery and wife, Fran, Salem, Timothy
Lee Kingery and wife, Phyllis, Shawsville, Richard B. Kingery Jr., Leesburg;
one brother and sister-in-law, Carnell and Hazel Moore, Boynton Beach, Fla.;
sisters and brothers-in-law, Pauline and Jackie Beard, Peggy and Jimmy Garman,
all of Catawba, Elva and Bo Altice, Rocky Mount, Vernie Wray, Roanoke;
grandchildren, James T. Moore, Shawsville, Jonathan Moore, Ironto, Allen L.
Moore, Logan Moore, both of Elliston, Michael W. Moore, Roanoke;
step-grandchildren, Angela and Christy Richardson, Timothy Kingery II and
Rebekah, Whitney Kingery, all of Shawsville, Kevin Whitaker, Christiansburg,
Woody Gibson, Elliston, Caroline Kingery, Roanoke, Janice Lynn Shockley,
Charlene Rena Moore; a stepgreat-granddaughter, Megan Shockley. Funeral
services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday from the First Pentecostal Holiness Church,
conducted by Rev. Richard Kingrea, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the
Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
